WELCOME TO ANGL O AMERICAN’S 2006
STUDENT TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME
FOR UK AND EUROPEAN BASED STUDENTS

Anglo American is one of the world’s largest mining and natural resource groups. With its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates, it is a global leader in gold, platinum group metals and diamonds, with significant interests in coal, base and ferrous metals, industrial minerals and forest products. It operates in over 50 countries around the world.

As part of its initiative to support and encourage tertiary education in mining related disciplines, the Anglo American group is offering approximately 20 intern/summer vacation work placement opportunities through its STEP programme for students currently studying mining related disciplines (=Major in Process Automation) in European universities in different locations.
